Kathleen has a passion for knowledge, which has led her to a lifetime of research and writing. She began this part of her career at age 12 writing weekly articles for the Mesa Tribune newspaper in Mesa, AZ. She later worked as an Assistant Editor, Writer, and Ad Sales Manager for the Apache County Observer and the Apache County Herald.
Kathleen gained an understanding of adult and child abuse and family issues when she worked as the Apache County Youth Council Coordinator – facilitating meetings for the Apache County School System, Child Protective Services, and the Behavioral Health Center.
Since 1970, her desire to help others led her to write about natural health, survival skills, personal development, and many other subjects – including the creation of a program designed to help women recognize and deal with abuse, and a children’s book that teaches the importance of forgiveness of one’s self and others.
Her desire to learn more about alternative healthcare eventually led her to study massage and Reiki at the Southwestern Institute of Healing Arts in Scottsdale, Arizona, after which she opened her own healing studio.
During the 24 years Kathleen was at home raising her children, her entrepreneurial spirit drove her to invest time and effort in the business arena as well. One of her many projects included creating innovative window-insulating shutters, writing a booklet to teach others how to build them, and being featured on radio and TV programs promoting the energy-saving idea. Over the years she also started two ad sheets, a business directory for her area, and several other home-based businesses.
Kathleen met and married Noel in 1999. Their passion for helping others compelled them to create Phoenix Success Training, which helps those who wish to improve their lives while also helping others. This exciting program is the first of several humanitarian-oriented projects they have planned.
